Bloom Pop-Up Café: Brewing Inclusion, One Cup at a Time
Frankston, VIC —7A Station Street. Every Monday from 11am to 1pm, the Bloom Pop-Up Café opens its doors with the simple goal of sparking connection over a warm drink and homemade treat. Operated by people with disabilities, this unique café offers more than just coffee—it's serving up community, inclusion, and heartfelt conversation.
Bloom is a donation-based café where guests can enjoy tea, coffee, muffins, and board games, and take a seat at the designated Chatty Table—a welcoming space for anyone looking for a friendly chat.
The initiative is part of the international Chatty Café Scheme, designed to reduce loneliness and create opportunities for social interaction. Bloom takes this mission one step further by providing meaningful community engagement opportunities for people with disabilities.
Bloom is a joint initiative by Frankston Life Community, a local not-for-profit focused on social connection, and Living Life Support Services, a disability support organisation. Together, they aim to bridge the gap between people with disabilities and the wider community, promoting belonging, understanding, and inclusion.
Bloom isn’t just a café—it’s a movement. It’s about breaking down barriers, building relationships, and creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone is valued.
All are welcome to drop in, grab a cuppa, share a story, or simply feel part of something meaningful.
